One man has taken the old hobby of model railroading to new lengths, including 300 actual feet of track

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) - If you ever played with a Lionel train, well you probably are a baby boomer or at least you knew one. 

One man has taken the old hobby to new lengths. Actually 300 feet of track in length. 

Ted York, a retired airline pilot, has recreated the area around San Bernardino, California (circa) 1952.

York tells us, “my dad was in the military we would travel all over the country and in those days the roads followed the railroad tracks and I used to look at railroad oriented structures and trains and I always thought about how could I model that how could I create this little world.”
